Triss Merigold of Maribor (orig. Triss Merigold) is a minor character in the literary saga and the main character of the games The Witcher, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, a sorceress and healer, one of the youngest, but at the same time the most talented magicians of the North. She has a close relationship with Geralt, is a friend of Yennefer, Ciri and the witchers from Kaer Morhen. Participant of the Battle of Sodden: as a result of this battle, she lost her hair and crippled her body, while she was mistakenly recognized as dead. After the rescue, she underwent rehabilitation and treatment for a long time. Subsequently, Triss received the nickname "The Fourteenth from the Hill".
